Rich is the Heart that finds Love

acrylic on watercolor paper
This is my entry in Dean Haven's moleskine journal. We started our journal exchange about a year 1/2 ago, and I only have one more to receive before mine comes home full of beautiful artwork from twelve fellow painters around the globe. Very fun! I feel very lucky to have been able to participate.

I'm loving your spring flower series, Liz! Wonderful work!
This is gorgeous can't believe it's acrylics! Curious about how much you'd sell it for? :)
Thanks so much, Don. Appreciate your stopping in!
Hi, Erika. Lots of layers of acrylics. Unfortunately, this one is part of a journal exchange, so not for sale.
Hi Liz,
I thought I would just hop over from facebook and visit your new blog post to see this lovely rose close up!
The pink next to the turquoise is truly wonderful. I like the way the colours dance next to each other.
I am now following you here and I will add your blog to my creative site list.
All best wishes,
Jo.
Jo! Thank you so much. Appreciate your stopping in your kind words!

Thank you, Rosemary!
Hi, R! Me, too, miss you. I owe you an email or two, I think! Thanks for your visit, and kind words.
What a beautifully painted flower!!
Hi Liz,
i really don't like acrylic (plastic) i prefer wood and oils, but this one of yours came out really nicely. Take care,
Mariano
Hi, Mariano - I used to feel the same way, until I began working with acrylics again in the last few years. They have come a long way in color intensity, luminosity, and workability since they were first developed. I love the quick drying time, layering and glazing capability or capacity for thick application. I love all media, and sure don't rule this one out!
I love it Liz!
Beautiful Liz!
This painting is so thoughtful and packed with some terrific choices.
Beautiful, Liz!
